Self improvement is a very broad topic and there is a need to learn a number of things in this regard; positive thinking is one of the important tools of self improvement. The most important thing is to find a technique which provides a strong foundation to your objective. If there is someone who can offer such technique to you then you will definitely be interested in following that technique.

? Your Personality is not Actually You

You behave differently in your childhood as compared to the way you act at present but you may find certain similar things in the behavior of both ages. The day to day dealings of a person is not actually his personality, although it is called to be so. The so called personality is actually a set of habits that are developed through various experiences.

You can pick a single thing out of your life that you haven?t done before but you always have been curious to experience that.

You can make a list of activities that you find yourself useless at like joining a drama club, running a marathon and hanging out with friends without letting the boss know. One will be taken a back by his/her feeling of empowerment and will have more motivation to move back his/her identity.

? Learn to have Motivation

Many people believe that the behavior of a man greatly depends upon the goodness of the day, the better the day the more will be the achievements of the man and more motivated he will be.

Although most of the people have this concept but we should have positive thinking and we should have the belief that a man has a complete control over his day. A proper planning is helpful in coping up with any emergency. In order to avoid the issues that come up on daily basis, try to find permanent solution to them so that you may not be irritated by them in future. And only after having a little control over circumstances, you would be able to discover the other areas of motivation. Make sure that your office environment enables you to concentrate on your work and to avoid interruption during your work. Make certain that you have got a good supply of water, paper, pencils and pens. After ensuring these things, you would be able to devise ways for improving your mood. To have the confidence in being capable of finishing tasks, try to keep a written record of the tasks you have done. Make an agenda of everyday?s task; it will be very helpful in doing it on time and with great efficiency. Making a list of everyday?s task also helps in driving your motivation.

? Be Proud of Who and What You Are.

Sometimes in life people deliberately or unintentionally, degrade you. They make you feel insulted and humiliated by telling you you?re lacking for example your obesity, your spelling mistakes, your looks etc. At times these humiliations may demoralize you badly and shatter your confidence. In this type of situation you need to have positive thinking that will keep you motivated. It is always recommended not to listen to the remarks and comments of those people who aim at demoralizing you and shattering your confidence. You should never care what other people say or think about you, rather you should focus on what are you achieving and keep on trying to make something out of your life and always have positive thinking and approach of life.
